This publication constitutes the refereed complaints of the ninth overseas convention on Agile methods in software program Engineering and severe Programming, XP 2008, held in Limerick, eire, in June 2008.
Out of fifty four submitted papers, sixteen have been approved as complete papers, four event reviews, 14 poster papers, nine workshop papers, and three contributions on panel discussions. The papers are prepared in topical sections on agile techniques, variation of agile, agile checking out and evaluate, heritage and evolution of agile, humans components in agile environments, conceptual versions of agility, and adventure reports.

Not only to become more skilled in Scrum, but also to address directly the task’s complexities. The applied technologies will have to be extended beyond Scrum to address other aspects of the task at hand. Hence, the research scope for an agile method like Scrum must be wider than the method and its features. 6 Limitations and Future Work In this study we have looked at an organisation undergoing significant change. A change caused by an implementation of Scrum as the enabler for radical product innovation.
The task-actors relation is bound to the misfit between employee competences and the new task of doing radical product innovation. The technology-actors relation refers to misfit between people competences in following Scrum as a new model for software development. As part of the recent take-over in 2005 the company experienced a significant change in focus. Coming from software development projects predominantly concerned with known and existing technologies the company was now given the new task of developing radical innovative mobile phones.
